LAW OF CREATION

The Law of Creation

He said, “Let there be light.” And there was light, in every mind, in every heart and in every soul everywhere.  The law of Creation.   As a cocreator with Spirit, man creates without ceasing because creation is a constantly active spiritual principle.

Humankinds’ highest expression of this cosmic law is to create in the same way that the Creator does.

Law of Creation is a sacred act, for at the heart of all creative activity are divine laws. We normally associate creation with physical laws governing biology, physics and other sciences; also, with inspired thoughts and feelings that give rise to the creative arts and music. But they are merely outward, tangible manifestations of inner, spiritual principles. Quantum Physics is now proving to science that creation within the subconscious is real.

Without God as divine laws, there would be no creativity. There would be no creation. We would not exist. Therefore, creative acts become holy (that is, wholesome) only when spiritual principles are adopted.

Once the sacredness of the creative act is established, procreation of life assumes the holiness that Spirit originally intended. This is true in every endeavor where creativity is employed.

As we speak, we precipitate these laws into action; and hope and trust, and protect you, that you will use this spiritual, scientific formula to bring about that desired result in your own lives for the good of all that comes under your influence.

If you can understand all of these principles involved, the aspects of God in and through all creation, divine law, and love and light combined upon a solid foundation of the first four activities, you yourselves can create any idea, any principle, any love and bring it into full manifestation and spiritualized creativity.

Let this ever be your law in practice. Let this ever be your procedure.

• The first step of creation is the idea to create, to be. This includes both the pure, raw, creative substance of God and the laws that govern it. Divine energy and divine laws produce life and the will to create new life.

Shakespeare’s Hamlet said, “To be, or not to be: that is the question.” That will always be humankind’s question. Will we choose life and choose to continue with our lives, come what may? Will we choose to live according to spiritual principles?

Law Of CreationWill we acknowledge that God is the source of all the energy we use? Spirit gives us the freedom of will to resolve these questions however we want. But whatever we decide, there will be either favorable or unfavorable consequences. For creation, like free will and cause and effect, is an ever-active cosmic law.

With unparalleled historical unanimity, the truly great spiritual teachers of this world have taught: Choose life. Choose righteousness. Choose love.

Steps of the Law of Creation

• The next step of creation is feeling the love of God. Spirit’s energy and laws wedded to wisdom and understanding create the highest desire in creation: love. Divine love is inherent within every child of God. For us to become unemotional, devoid of desires or detached from life, as certain philosophies teach, goes against our divine nature. We need only eliminate all motivating desires that are less than love.

• The third creative step incorporates each new creation with the rest of the cosmos. Spirit is always at one with Its creation, and this oneness is maintained by the divine law of integration. Whenever new life forms, knowledge or beneficial productions of any kind are conceived, the law of integration synthesizes each with All.

• The fourth step is change; specifically, change that refines, purifies and transmutes whatever is created. Gods’ original creation was not only good, it was perfect. Yet, all the diversity of life that God produced did not remain in a condition of static perfection, because the sixth creative act is the divine law of transmutation.

Change is everlasting. It is divinely ordained. It is the cause of the divine dissatisfaction within us that compels us to improve ourselves and all we create.

• The final step of the law of creation is divine love, rest and peace.

All of Gods creations are immaculately conceived. The entire race of man is an immaculate conception of Spirit. We each have the power to conceive immaculately, for God’s life, light, love and law are within us.

So, let us cocreate with God on Earth even as we do in heaven. By so doing, the re-formation of Earth will be conceived and brought forth in purity and love.

  1. A particularly interesting reflection. I find Leviticus 26, with its central theme of 7, the Sabbath and the consequences of not allowing the cultivation of the land to come to rest on the seventh day, and then again in the Jubilee year (7 x 7+1 i.e. 50th year) in the Judaic tradition. This is ultimately derived from Genesis 2:1,2,3 of course; in this way, as co-creator Man invites the Lord’s blessing of his action, by a) offering it up to the Lord, and b) observing the Sabbath, in bringing all the activity of the week to rest. Yet . . . the activities of Monday are brought to rest by observing that they were ‘Good (tov)’; as with Tuesday and the following days of the week. That way one’s actions become sacred.
